Our markets

UNIVEG is the industry leader in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria. It also has a strong position in the UK, France, Italy, Spain and Poland. In these countries we maintain close, daily contacts with the largest retailers, and we also have our own facilities for carrying out the necessary services (packing, ripening, buffering, etc.). In most of the remaining European markets (Nordic area, Eastern Europe etc.) we do business either directly from our production units or from neighbouring countries.

In the US our subsidiary Seald Sweet is a leader in the Citrus business and is now successfully diversifying into Deciduous. It counts a growing number of the largest US retailers amongst its customers. And last but not least, our overseas production units in Africa and South America have direct sales to the middle East, Russia; they also have increasing business opportunities in their local market (Argentina, Brazil etc.) as consumption habits change.

UNIVEG currently has little presence in Asia but is a major importer from countries like China (pomelos, pears) and India (grapes), where it is keeping up with future possibilities.
