Seald Sweet International launches Tropical Division

In further continuing growth strategies and expansion, the company Seald Sweet International, belonging to the UNIVEG group announced the launch of their Tropical Commodity division.
This new development comes through a concurrent move with Dulce Fresh, a produce sales and importing company specializing in tropical commodities, which announced it has ceased operations as of March 1st, 2011. Through this, Seald Sweet has acquired Dulce's tropical product supplies and sales accounts.
This division brings new depth and diversity to Seald Sweet's fresh fruit supply base, adding products including pineapples, the signature item of this category. Additionally, within the company's sourcing network and integrated supply chain, other items such as plantains, mangoes, avocadoes, and more will be added to the portfolio.
Seald Sweet's tropical division will operate out of the northeastern United States, channeling product through sister company UNIVEG Logistics America, located in Swedesboro New Jersey. The expansion strengthens all companies within the UNIVEG group globally, allowing supply chains and market access to grow and be more diversified, further advancing opportunities in North America, Europe and other locations around the world.
