UNIVEG completes Senior Management team with CFO

UNIVEG is pleased to announce the appointment of Davide Bustreo to the position of CFO of the UNIVEG Group, effective 7 October. Davide joined UNIVEG in 2006 and has been part of the management team with growing responsibilities since then. Davide has previously served as Auditor and Transaction Advisor at Andersen and held different finance positions in the fresh produce industry. His appointment completes UNIVEG’s Senior Management team of the UNIVEG Group.

UNIVEG receives binding offer from Culinor for the sale of Hot Cuisine in Ghent.

UNIVEG and Hot Cuisine announced today that Culinor has made a binding offer to purchase Hot Cuisine’s business in Ghent. UNIVEG and Hot Cuisine intend to accept this offer, but shall consult the Works Council at Tournai in advance about the possible closure of the Tournai factory. Culinor’s offer is limited to the takeover of the activities in Ghent. Culinor has shown no interest to continue activities in Tournai. The offer therefore implies the possible closure of the Tournai unit.
