UNIVEG Bulgaria is a wholly owned subsidiary of the UNIVEG group of companies and is a market leader in the retail distribution of fresh and frozen products within the region. The business is embarking upon the construction of a new warehouse to offer cross-docking possibilities in Sofia. UNIVEG Bulgaria anticipates moving into this new facility mid 2010.

Hein Deprez to become Chairman of the Board of Directors of UNIVEG, Rudi De Becker appointed as CEO

The Board of Directors of UNIVEG has decided to appoint Hein Deprez as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Strategic Committee. In his new role, Hein Deprez will focus, in close cooperation with the new CEO, on the strategic development of the company and on the core customer relationships. Rudi De Becker will succeed Hein Deprez as CEO of the UNIVEG group. Until now Rudi De Becker was already member of the UNIVEG Board of Directors.
